Creepy breastfeeding simulation doll to weird up US toy stores

I have absolutely no problem with breast feeding. None, whatsoever. But, I don't know. This doesn't seem quite, right.

if your baby is still hungry you can give him the other breast too

No words can adequately describe how uncomfortable I am feeling right now. I want to reiterate, that I have no problem with breast feeding. I even consider myself a breastfeeding advocate. But, I have the same problem that I have with this, that I do with all of the "mother training dolls for six year olds" out there; they're creepy. Creepy as all hell.

It is as if, the doll industrial complex, is perpetuating this image of happiness and responsibility to girls as they grow up that is completely geared towards being domesticated house servants as the largest method of happiness at their disposal. I'm a guy though, so I really don't know about the whole doll phenomenon; but is that because of something biological, or that I wasn't conditioned into some feverish, terrifying culture of dolls and dolling from birth? Shouldn't children stay children, and be allowed to be children without being taught the responsibilities of child rearing at an early age? I don't know. I'm just here to show you how creepy this doll is.

see how happy you can be with the magic of motherhood?

At any rate, this doll is, in fact, disturbing, and there has been quite a bit of outcry over it, which is kind of understandable. To their credit though, the company which makes the Breast Milk Babies, Berjuan Toys, released this amusing "top secret worldwide pronouncement live from the underground headquarters of a recently discovered subversive organization" video where Colonel Knip Suhkler responds to some of the criticism, specifically to Bill O'Reilly:

a video accompanying an article on the breast milk baby's website titled "does bill o'reilly have cajones"?

The Breast Milk Baby is coming to US stores soon, it is originally from Spain where it is known as "Bebe Gloton", meaning greedy baby. You can order the Bebe Gloton on the Breast Milk Baby webpage for $89.

So, for the record, this blog post is not part of the general outcry against this doll. I don't really know how I feel about it; I'm not a parent, so parents will have to make up their own mind about what is good for their child.

Their own mind about whether to get their child the Breast Milk Baby. "Little girls need to learn to breastfeed," this YouTube video's description starts with [NSFW]:

I'm not sure I agree.
