Now, before anyone comes in being all "Yeah but you're for the 9/11 mosque, this is a double standard" let me stop you right here. Despite having serious disagreements with people who are all up and against the Cordoba House, sure, you have the right to go out on the streets and make fools of yourselves, go right ahead, that's fine. Tell me all about it over a beer.

And clearly, Reverend Terry Jones (no relation to the beloved Welsh comedian, Terry Jones) and his "Dove World Outreach Center", at the same time have the absolute right to burn 200 Qu'rans on 9/11, as if there weren't American Muslims who died as innocent victims with the victims of 9/11. You can totally do that.
BUT IF YOU DO IT, IT CLEARLY MEANS YOU'RE AN ASSHOLE. You can't just go around burning books? What the hell is going on? Since when, does ANYONE think it's a great political -- not to mention religiuos -- statement to burn a bunch of copies of a holy text?? I am amazed that we have gotten to this point, although of course I remember a time when the main argument against torture wasn't that it was ineffective. Instead of being wholly, morally offensive. Like burning books of a culture that you absolutely despise.
I am not a religious, or Christian person. But WTFWJD? What the fuck would Jesus do? Do you, honestly believe, that JESUS, your Lord and Savior, would EVER, find reason to take someone's holiest book and turn it into a burning pyre? Look at you! What the fuck is wrong with you! I think this is the work of Satan, he's fastened hard onto your soul and has convinced you to forget everything that Jesus taught and base your life on fear and anger! WHY? WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?
